On the 18th / 19th January, we opened the year with 100 of us being part a sleepover at the Scout HQ.

We started the evening with a special Dance Disco lead by Mike Beesley.

This will be following by a slide and film show celebrating Crowborough Scout’s activities and adventures.

Cubs and Scouts slept at the Scout HQ. In the main hall will be segregated so that cubs and scouts,
and girls and boys will be sleeping separately.

We finished with a hearty breakfast, generously donated by Waitrose, on Saturday morning.

The event was free and all was needed was a sleeping bag and teddy (optional).

Thanks to everyone who helped to make the sleepover on Friday night a brilliant success. We had a great time with about 50 actually sleeping over, with about 100 actually taking part in one way or another. The Courier photographer turned up on Saturday morning so we should be in by Friday.

Thanks once again, we are now Ł3000 better off thanks to Waitrose and we can say we have officially kicked off the centenary year.
