Thank you for Scouting, the places I visit and the friends that I meet.
Thank you for the food we eat and the air we breathe.
Thank you, Lord, for all these things. Amen.
May the wind blow softly on your face
May the sun shine lightly upon on your shoulders
May the rain always fall and your grass always be green
May you always enjoy the peace of our earth
and see the beauty that lies with-in yourself
May your life be fulfilled, with but simple things.
The Lord is good to me
and so I thank the Lord
for giving me the things I need
the sun and the rain and the apple seed.
The Lord is good to me.
Amen!

Dear Lord, Thank you for the Fun Tonight Bless the Beaver on my left and on my right and god bless me. Help us, dear God, to love thee day by day
To do our duty to you and enjoy our play
To keep our cub scout promise the best that we can
And to do our best always to help our fellow man.
Amen.
Dear Lord, thank you for Scouts and the skills and knowledge we learn. Help us to put maximum effort into what we do and use the knowledge gained for the benefit of all Scouts, other people and ourselves. Dear Lord, help us to take care of the fragile earth. Help us to prevent the destruction of wild life and to save those who suffer. Help us to always do our best and use the things we are given in the right way. Help us to help the world become a good and safe place to live. May we always be ready to help those in need, whoever they are and wherever they may be.
At the end of the day I sit and say,
thank you god for a lovely day,
I tried to be good for I know that I should,
That's my prayer at the end of the day

Smiling is infectious, You catch it like the fluí,
When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner And someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realised, Iíd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile, Then realised its worth.
A single smile, just like mine, Could travel round the Earth.
So, if you feel a smile begin, Donít leave it undetected.
Letís start an epidemic quick And get the World infected!
